Our team at The Lake Dealerships wrote this guide to help our customers understand the nuances of this awesome lineup of SUVs. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
2020 Ford Escape S
Let’s start with a look at the base model––the Ford Escape S. Although it’s the starting point, it’s anything but basic. This is an exciting SUV with some out-of-this-world capabilities.
Powering the Escape S is the 1.5L EcoBoost®. This is able to produce 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, while also efficiently using fuel, thanks to its Auto Start-Stop Technology.
One great aspect of this trim is the amount of standard technology you will get. This includes the features that make up Ford Co-Pilot360™. With systems like BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane-Keeping System, you will have more confidence when driving.
2020 Ford Escape SE
The Ford Escape SE trim picks up where the Ford Escape S left off. It builds upon what’s already there, retaining many of the key features and systems that drivers already love.
One big addition to the SE is the SYNC® 3 infotainment system. Included with SYNC® 3 is Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, features which give you the ability to safely use a variety of applications and systems from your smartphone while driving.
The front seats can also be heated in the Escape SE, while the driver’s seat has a 10-way power adjustment to give you easy control over your own comfort.
2020 Ford Escape Sport Hybrid
This trim level is powered by the hybrid 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine. This provides extremely efficient driving with a fuel economy of 44 city/37 highway MPG.
The Escape Sport Hybrid gives you various options, as well, when it comes to having additional features. You’ll have the option to get the available power liftgate, which makes loading and unloading cargo out of the back of your 2020 Ford Escape much easier.
2020 Ford Escape SEL
Even more conveniences are found in the Escape SEL. This trim level comes with the Remote Start System that lets you get the engine going before you even leave your house. When your hands are full with luggage or grocery bags, simply wave your foot under the bumper and watch the hands-free, foot-activated liftgate open up.
You’ll even be able to find the nearest gas station, see what traffic looks like up ahead, or check on the weather forecast using the SiriusXM™ Traffic with Travel Link®.
2020 Ford Escape Titanium
The Ford Escape Titanium is the top trim level. It comes with all the latest modern amenities––and a truly luxurious interior. It features leather-trimmed front bucket seats and the dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control system to personally adjust your side to the temperature you would like.
When listening to your driving playlist, you’ll feel like the band is in the car with you, as songs are broadcasted through the 10-speaker B&O™ Sound System.
When heading into town for dinner, let the Ford Escape Titanium find and fit you into a parking spot along the street, using the advanced system of Active Park Assist 2.0.
