Chevy Equinox Performance
Look under the hood of the Chevy Equinox and you’ll find the standard 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine. It generates 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. It’s partnered up with a 6-speed automatic transmission, which helps it achieve an EPA-estimated 26 city/28 highway MPG.
If you need even more power, you can upgrade to the available 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder. It cranks out 252 horsepower and is partnered up with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Together, they’ll help you tow a maximum of 3,500 pounds.
There’s also an available all-wheel drive system. It monitors all four wheels and intuitively adjusts power output to give you more traction on slick roads.
The Chevy Equinox has seating for up to five passengers. It also brings you the sophisticated comfort of leather-trimmed upholstery and the all-season relaxation of heated and ventilated front seats. Plus, the available dual-zone automatic climate control will let everyone choose the ideal temperature.
Whether you’re coming home from the grocery store, packing up for a road trip, or bringing home the haul from your latest shopping spree, cargo space is important, and the Equinox has 29.9 cubic feet of it. If you need even more, lower the rear seats and you’ll have 63.9 cubic feet of space to fill up.
To keep you better connected on the go, there’s the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. From its available 8-inch touchscreen, you’ll have control of all the apps and music that you love, thanks to the standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. You can also crank out your favorite tunes with the available Bose® premium 7-speaker audio system.
Chevy Equinox Trim Levels
The Chevy Equinox has four trim levels to choose from, so you’ll get to choose the one with the set of features that suits your needs.
The first is the L. It’s only available with front-wheel drive, but the following three trim levels can be upgraded with the ability of all-wheel drive:
If you want to add some unique style to your Equinox trim, the LT offers the Midnight Edition. It’s complete with Jet Black perforated leather seating, 19-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, Black bowtie emblems in the front and rear, and so much more.
You can also opt for the Redline Edition. It’s available on the Premier trim and adds some sporty style that’s sure to turn heads. It comes with a Black grille, mirror caps, window surround, and bowtie emblems. The 19-inch Black wheels come with racetrack-ready Red accents. There’s also Equinox badges with a Red outline.
