If you’re in the mood to get fancy, you need to make a trip to the PA Tea Festival this September 29th and 30th. This special event is hosted in charming downtown Mechanicsburg, PA, at The Rosemary House & Gardens and Sweet Remembrances Tea Room. Tea lovers will delight in the variety of events offered at this unique festival, and we’re here to tell you what you need to know about the PA Tea Festival.

  • The Japanese Tea Ceremony, ‘The Way of Tea,’ Matcha, and More: This lecture will educate on how tea is grown in Japan, the increasing popularity of Matcha, and the numerous health benefits of the tea. You’ll also learn the spirit of the unique and spiritual Japanese Tea Ceremony.
  • More Than a Tempest in a Teapot – America Comes into Being: This lecture will illustrate the story of American history using tea wares. Hear how important tea was to the social, economic, and political fabric of our country.
  • Tea Party Planning Made Easy: Learn from the editor of TeaTime magazine, who will share creative ways to host a tea party event, including selecting a theme, locating décor, and planning a comprehensive menu.
  • Tea Blending Made Simple: Learn the art of blending tea to discover how to create a unique and delicious combination of flavors.

Tea Tastings & Garden Talks

Experience a selection of different tea tasting events, including chocolate and tea pairings, a spectrum of green teas, a selection of different varieties of tea, and a tasting of unique Taiwanese teas. These intimate events are each limited to just 15 attendees, so be sure to get your tickets soon! Garden talks will provide you with knowledge on herbs that can be added to your teapot to enhance your tea’s flavor, and you’ll learn about herbs and weeds that make the best healing tisanes.
